Bet Limits and the Max Button
The most you can bet on casino games and the sportsbook, and why Max can be lower than your balance.

Every bet on Goated has a maximum size. The Max button fills in the most you can bet right now, so it can be lower than your balance. All limits are in US dollars. If you bet in crypto, the limit is the same value in your currency.

Why your max bet can be lower: a single bet can never win more than the max win for that game. If your settings could pay more, your max bet is lowered to fit. Your max bet is the max win divided by the highest multiplier you could hit.
Limbo with a 100x target: $100,000 ÷ 100 = a max bet of $1,000.
Dice with a 2x payout: the full $3,000.
Mines, Tower and Goat Run: the more you pick or the further you go, the higher the possible win. With a big bet, you may not be able to go as far.
Blackjack side bets are limited so their top payout stays under $100,000.
Slots
You can bet up to $3,000 per spin or bonus buy.
Each game provider also caps the biggest win on a single spin, at around $200,000. The game lowers its own max bet to stay under that cap.
So slots with very high top wins have lower max bets. For example, a slot with a top win of 10,000x allows up to $20 per spin.
Each slot shows its own max bet in its bet selector.
Live casino and other third-party games
Live casino, game shows and third-party table games allow up to $1,000 per bet.

Sportsbook
Add a selection to your bet slip and tap Max next to the stake box. Max fills in the lowest of:
Your limit for that market. It depends on the sport, event and market, and on your account. New accounts and smaller events usually have lower limits.
$50,000 per bet.
Your balance in the currency you selected.
If you type a stake above your max, the stake box turns red and shows your max bet.
Max shows 0? Check that you have a balance in the currency selected on your bet slip. If you do, that market isn't taking a bet from your account right now. Try another market, or contact our support team.
