Connecting a wallet
You can sign in and move funds using any of five wallets:
Phantom and Solflare — Solana
MetaMask and Coinbase Wallet — Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum One and BNB Smart Chain
WalletConnect — anything else that supports the WalletConnect standard
You do not need a connected wallet to deposit. Every account gets its own Goated deposit address on each network, and you can send to it from an exchange, a hardware wallet, or anywhere else.
Making a deposit
Open Wallet → Deposit and pick the asset and the network you want to send on.
We issue you a deposit address for that network. It is yours permanently — save it and reuse it for future deposits of any asset that rides the same chain.
Send from your wallet or exchange. XRP deposits also need the destination tag shown next to the address.
Your balance updates as soon as the network confirms the transfer. You do not need to keep the page open; the balance arrives by itself.
The network matters more than the address. A deposit address only works for the network it was issued on. Sending USDC on Arbitrum to an address we gave you for Solana puts the funds somewhere we cannot reach them. Check the network on both screens before you send.
Things worth knowing
Deposits worth less than $0.01 are not recorded at all.
The minimum exists so a deposit is worth more than the network fee to move it — sending less is a way to lose money on fees, not a way to get free credit.
On Polygon and Arbitrum One we accept native USDC only. Bridged USDC.e is a different token and will not be credited.
If an account is under review when a deposit lands, the funds are recorded and held rather than credited. Contact live support and they will release or refund it.

Buying with a card
If you do not hold crypto yet, Wallet → Buy crypto opens our on-ramp partner, Onramper. You choose the amount and pay by card or bank transfer; Onramper delivers the crypto straight to your Goated deposit address, so it lands in your balance the same way any other deposit does.
Cards work for USDC, USDT, BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, TRX, LTC and BNB. Pricing, payment methods and identity checks are Onramper's, and vary by country. Anything we quote on the buy screen comes from them.
Making a withdrawal
Open Wallet → Withdraw, pick the asset and network, and paste your destination address.
Enter the amount. The network fee below is deducted from your balance on top of the amount you enter, so a withdrawal of 100 USDC on Ethereum costs you 103 USDC.
Confirm with your two-factor code. Every withdrawal needs one.
Most withdrawals reach the network within a minute or two. Larger ones go to a human first — see "Limits and manual review" below.
