What to do if you have made an incorrect deposit on Goated.

If you have made an incorrect deposit, please contact our support team via Live Chat.

We will do our best to assist you; however, please note that recovery of funds cannot be guaranteed.

Please note that the minimum amount for retrieval must exceed $100 USD.


For incorrect deposits involving coins supported by Goated but sent on the wrong chain, missing destination tags, or similar issues:

  • The first occurrence will be retrieved with no penalty.

  • Future occurrences will incur a 10% penalty, up to $100 based on the deposit’s USD value.

For wrong deposits involving coins or chains not supported by Goated:

  • Our team will investigate each case individually.

  • If the coin is retrievable, a penalty of up to 50% of the deposit amount may apply, depending on the coin and chain.

  • If the coin is not retrievable, we will be unable to credit the deposit.

Important:
Ripple (XRP) deposits sent without a destination tag or memo cannot be retrieved. To avoid issues, please ensure you always include the required destination tag
