What is the Limbo game on Goated?

Goated Limbo is a custom-built, in-house Originals title. Every round produces a random result multiplier; before betting, you commit to a target, and if the round's result is at or above it, you're paid your stake times your target. Below it, the stake is lost. The reveal is instant.

Like Dice, Limbo hands you direct control of your own odds — but on a far bigger scale. Where Dice tops out around ~99x, Limbo's target dial runs to 1,000,000x. You're playing the exact same 99% RTP whether you grind 1.1x targets or chase six-figure multipliers; the only thing that changes is how your returns are distributed between frequency and size.

What are the rules of Goated Limbo?

Limbo has the shortest rulebook of any Original:

• Set your target multiplier — anywhere from 1.01x up to 1,000,000x.
• Place your bet — the round's result multiplier is generated and revealed instantly.
• Result ≥ target: you win — your stake times your target multiplier (not the result).
• Result < target: you lose — the stake for that round.

Note the payout detail: you're always paid at your target, regardless of how high the result lands. A 500x result against your 2x target pays 2x — capturing more would have required committing to a higher target beforehand.

How to play Goated Limbo

1. Set your bet amount.
2. Choose your target multiplier (1.01x – 1,000,000x).
3. Press Bet — the result reveals instantly.
4. If the result meets or beats your target, you win your bet times the target.

Your odds come from one rule:

Win chance (%) = 99 ÷ target multiplier

The 99 in the formula is the 99% RTP. Multiply win chance by payout at any row and you get 0.99 — every target is the same bet in expectation, which means no target is secretly "better value." You're purely choosing between winning often and winning big.

What strategies can you use for Goated Limbo?

Limbo's strategy space is target selection plus bankroll systems — and the formula above already tells you the punchline: every target has identical expected value.

Target styles:

• Low-target grinding (1.1x–1.5x) — wins most rounds, loses slowly to the 1% edge, long sessions.
• Mid targets (2x–10x) — the classic risk band, where systems like Martingale are usually aimed.
• Moonshots (100x+) — almost all rounds lose; one hit defines the session. Flat-bet small stakes only.

Bankroll systems, run through auto-bet:

• Martingale — double after every loss at ~2x targets, aiming to recover with one win. A 49.5% win chance means long losing streaks are routine, and stakes grow exponentially through them. Use Stop on Loss.
• Paroli — increase after each win to ride streaks, reset after a loss. Caps downside, doesn't add edge.
• D'Alembert — one unit up after a loss, one down after a win. The gentlest progression.
• Flat betting — same stake every round. Lowest variance, and the only sane companion to high targets.

Honest verdict: over enough rounds every target and every system returns 99%. Strategy shapes variance, not expected value. Decide your risk band, set Stop on Profit and Stop on Loss before the session, and treat systems as structure — not an edge.

Goated Limbo vs Crash

Same family, opposite nerves: Limbo is pre-commitment with zero timing pressure, Crash is live reflexes with a shared round. Limbo also carries the better RTP of the two on Goated — 99% versus Crash's 98%.

Is Goated Limbo fair?

Yes — and you can verify every round. Each result is generated from three inputs: a server seed (committed as a hash before you bet), your client seed (editable in your settings), and a nonce that increments each bet. These are combined with HMAC-SHA256 as HMAC-SHA256(server_seed, client_seed:nonce:cursor), and the resulting bytes are converted into floats that produce the round's result multiplier.

Because the server seed is hashed and shown before your bet, Goated cannot lower a result after seeing your target. To audit any past round: rotate your seed on the seeds page to reveal the previous server seed, then reproduce the result on the verification page.
