Order Up

One tap deals your cards and settles instantly. You are paid by how many come up in rising order from the left — the more cards you ask for, the longer the odds and the bigger the top prize. Pick 3 to 8 cards, place your wager and hit bet.

Edge: 1%

Order Up is a provably-fair Goated Originals card game: you choose how many cards to deal, from 3 to 8, and get paid on how many of them rise in order from the first card. The RTP is 99% at every card count.

Each round draws that many distinct numbers from 1 to 99, no repeats. The run starts at the first card and stops the moment one lands lower than the card before it.

The card count is the only dial you control. It does not change the 1% house edge, but it does change how often you win and how big the top prize is: all eight cards in order pays 1,000x, once in 40,320 rounds.

What is the Order Up game on Goated?

Order Up is an in-house Goated Originals title that deals 3 to 8 cards and pays on the rising run from the first card. You set the card count before you bet, and that is the whole of your input.

The run is counted from the left. The first card always counts, so it is never shorter than one. It continues while each new card beats the one before it, and ends at the first card that comes in lower. If the whole hand is sorted, you win the top prize for that card count. Only the order matters, not the values: a hand of 4, 61, 88 pays exactly what 1, 2, 3 pays.

What are the rules of Goated Order Up?

  • Pick your card count — 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 cards for the round.
  • Place one bet — there are no turns, no extra decisions, and no cash out.
  • Cards are drawn without replacement — each number from 1 to 99 appears at most once, so two cards never match.
  • The run is counted from the first card — it continues while each card beats the one before it.
  • The run ends at the first lower card — whatever length you reached is what pays.
  • Payout is your stake times the multiplier for that card count and run length.

What features does Goated Order Up have?

  • Card count 3 to 8 — the only risk setting in the game.
  • Turbo mode — skips the flip animation and settles the round instantly.
  • Hotkeys — Space places a bet, W doubles the bet, S halves it, A lowers the card count, D raises it.
  • Bet Amount — the base stake for every round.
  • Number of Bets — how many rounds an auto-bet session runs.
  • On Win adjustment — reset to base stake or increase your bet by a set percentage after a win.
  • On Loss adjustment — reset or increase by a percentage after a loss.
  • Stop on Profit — end the session once total profit hits your target.
  • Stop on Loss — end the session when losses reach your limit.
  • Instant Auto-bet — run a whole auto-bet session at once and see the summarised result.
  • Custom strategies — build, save, and reuse your own betting strategies in the strategy editor.

How to play Goated Order Up

  1. Set your bet amount.
  2. Choose how many cards to deal, from 3 to 8.
  3. Press Bet. The cards are drawn from 1 to 99 with no repeats.
  4. The run is counted from the first card until one comes in lower.
  5. The round settles at the multiplier for that run length.

The odds come from one fact: only relative order matters, so the chance that the first k cards arrive in rising order is 1 ÷ k!. For a hand of N cards:

P(run = k) = 1/k! − 1/(k+1)! for any run shorter than the full hand, and P(run = N) = 1/N! when the whole hand is in order.

The full paytable, with the chance of each run length next to what it pays:

Read the short runs carefully. At 3 and 4 cards a run of two pays 0.47x and 0.43x, which is less than your stake: a partial refund, not a win. At 5 to 8 cards a run of two pays nothing. So 3 and 4 cards return something half the time, but you only finish ahead 16.7% of the time at 3, 4 and 5 cards, and 4.17% at 6, 7 and 8.

The top prize is the whole hand in order: 1 in 6 at three cards, then 1 in 24, 1 in 120, 1 in 720, 1 in 5,040, and 1 in 40,320 at eight.

Very large bets may be declined if the top prize for that round would exceed the maximum payout allowed on a single round.

What strategies can you use for Goated Order Up?

There is no in-round strategy. Once you press bet the hand is decided, there is nothing to cash out and no choice left. Everything you control happens beforehand: card count and bet size.

Card count changes variance, not value. Every card count returns exactly 99%, with no rounding slack. More cards buys a longer top end, not a better price: eight cards pays 1,000x but leaves you with nothing 95.8% of the time, and five cards 83.3% of the time. Three and four cards pay out most often, but mostly those sub-stake refunds.

Bet sizing, run through auto-bet:

  • Martingale — raise your bet after every loss to recover with one win. At 6 to 8 cards long losing runs are normal, so this gets expensive fast. Use Stop on Loss.
  • Paroli — increase after a win, reset after a loss. Caps the downside, adds no edge.
  • D'Alembert — one unit up after a loss, one down after a win. The gentlest progression.
  • Flat betting — same stake every round. Lowest variance, longest bankroll life.

Honest verdict: no card count and no betting system changes the 1% edge. Over enough rounds everything returns 99%. Pick the card count that matches the swings you want to sit through, and set your stops before you start.

Is Goated Order Up fair?

Yes, and you can check it yourself. Every deal comes from three inputs: a server seed that is committed as a hash before you bet, your client seed, which you can edit in your settings, and a nonce that increases with each bet. They are combined with HMAC-SHA256 as HMAC-SHA256(server_seed, client_seed:nonce:cursor), and the resulting bytes become the floats that draw each card from an ordered pool of 1 to 99 without replacement.

Because the server seed is hashed and shown before the round, the deal is fixed before any card appears on screen. To audit a past round, rotate your seed on the seeds page to reveal the previous server seed, then reproduce the deal on the verification page. The algorithm is published in full on the implementation page.
